LEAPING LEPRECHAUNS These self-appointed guardians of Irish treasures tend to avoid contact with humans, whom they regard as foolish creatures. If these mischievious beings are ever caught by a mortal, they will promise great wealth if allowed to go free. According to legend, anyone who keeps an eye fixed upon a leprechaun, denies his escape, but the moment the gaze is withdrawn, he vanishes. You can be sure that these characters will draw many a wonderous gaze from your public.

SUNNY DAY STROLLING George Bumbelle and his wife Elizabeth along with baby Bartholemew are out for their constitutional Sunday stroll. Wandering to the enchanting sounds of by-gone waltzing melodies, the family make their way through cobbled streets and leafy mews. On their journey they exchange greetings and pleasantries to fellow gentry that they meet apon their path. Sunny Day Strolling is an elegant and charming Victorian scene walkabout act featuring two performers and a tall musical pram.

GODDESS OF THE SUN (Carnival Section) Ra was the goddess of the sun. She sailed across the heavens on a golden Chariot called the ‘Barque of Millions of Years’. At the end of each day Ra was thought to die and sailed on her night voyage through the Underworld, leaving the Moon to light the world above.

GAIA MOTHER EARTH (Carnival Section) Gaia is a fantasy world creation combining elements of myths and legends from Irish folklore and the ancient world. As Mother Earth sits on her throne amongst the standing stones and fairy tree, the fairies, ladybirds and bumblebees play around her whilst the leprechauns dance a joyful jig.

GALAXIA (Carnival Section) From a distant galactic race, these extra terrestrials arrived on earth with the sole intention of creating a high octane extravaganza. Together this 5 piece Cyber-band dance and perform to an original Techno-Rock soundtrack whilst accompanied by 20 -25 Cyber-funk street dancers and 4 professional Poi performers. To protect these beings they hypnotise leather-clad motorcycle outriders to lead them on they're journey.

THE DARK ORDER Inspired by the Wraith Riders from ‘The Lord of the Rings’ & 'The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse', The Horseless Apocalypse bring with them an eerily gothic presence guaranteed to run a chill down the spine. They move slowly and deliberately and exude a sombre and trance - like state .They journey in procession, bearing torches of fire, to a soundtrack of ancient Gregorian chants and the mournful toll of 'bells-of-doom'.

THE UNDERTAKERS Through the hustle and bustle of the shoppers & streets appears an unlikely procession, two Victorian undertakers and their coffin moving strangely out of time unaware by their surroundings and puzzled onlookers. The Procession moves along gathering with it new mourners and onlookers as it makes its way to an unknown destination.
This is a Dark, irreverent and completely slapstick piece of street theatre, where a rock star from yester year comes back to life at his own funeral and decides to give an impromptu concert to celebrate but is sent on his way when things begin to get out of hand.

18th CENTURY GENTLEMEN Victorio Brunnel & Rufus Lamar are two 18th Century Gentlemen that have a taste for the ‘Good Life’. In recent times their dandy, devil may care antics have set society tongues raging. It is said that these cads can be found at all the best parties, flirting and cavorting outrageously with the entire guest in attendance. Dressed in their French finery of Top & Tails and wearing a rye smile they truly are the ‘finest of Fellows’!
